Walt Disney World
When someone thinks of Orlando their first thought is usually Mickey Mouse. Although Disney is in Kissimmee, FL about 45 mins outside of Orlando. Keep this in mind when you think about hotels and resort choices.
The surrounding area is called BVL (Buena Ventura Lakes). This is where you can find tons of restaurants, an Outlet Mall, and activities for families to enjoy.
Disney Parks include Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot. The castle is located at Magic Kingdom. Hollywood Studios is home to the brand new Star Wars ride and most of the show rides as well.
Animal Kingdom is where you can explore the Avatar experience along with the infamous Tree of Life. Epcot is where you'll go around the world discovering food, drinks, and showcases from 11 different countries with the Spaceship Earth as the symbolic structure at Epcot.

Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure
Located in the heart of Orlando right near International Drive is where you will find the famous Universal Studios. There are 3 sections to this park: City Walk, Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure.
City walk is free to lounge around and grab a bite to eat. Think of it as its own strip that includes a movie theatre, play mini-golf, and great food.
Universal Studios is on the right side right outside City Walk which includes shows and rides that are less of roller coasters and more exhibits. Here you can enjoy Minions, Fast & Furious, and the Mummys, and more. The Dr. Suess World is perfect for the little ones.
Islands of Adventure is more of a roller coaster park. Get ready for some adrenaline pumping! The park features the Hulk ride, Spider-Man, Dr. Doom, and much more. (The park is undergoing a lot of changes so ride are subject to change)

Legoland
Legoland is a child's wonderland. The park is located in Winter Haven which is about an hour and a half from Orlando but is definitely a must for leggo lovers.
This park features Lego Sculptures and Lego-themed rides. Roller coasters, botanical gardens, and playgrounds are just a list of some of the things to explore at the park.

Aquatica
If your thinking about cooling off in this Florida heat you might want to check out Aquatica. Great place for all ages to come and cool down for a day of fun. This park is the ultimate adventure.
Aquatica is home to waterslides that go through a dolphin pool and a wave pool that creates waves every hour just like if you are at the beach. Be sure to check out all the colorful waterslides and lazy rivers too.

Volcano Bay
The newest water park in Orlando. It's located next to Universal and has a huge Volcano you can't miss from anywhere. The park features water slides, lazy rivers, and a wave pool for an epic day of water fun.
There is also a wait in line feature that allows you to wait in line on your phone. Once it's your turn you can go head over to the ride instead of waiting hours on end in a staircase wet and cold.
